Sussex Metro Ltd, which is part of the Kent Metro Ltd. Group became fully operational in 2005 due to high demand and is now offering full Driver Training from our Kent Training Centre.

Kent Metro was established in 1963 in South London and were then known as Metro School of Motoring.

In 1977 we moved our operation to Kent, because of our new location we changed our name to “Kent Metro” We became a limited company in 1988 and since then have traded as Kent Metro Ltd. In 1997 we relocated to our present site at Kingsnorth Industrial Estate Hoo near Rochester. This is a purpose built training centre, with two full size reversing area’s. It allows us also to offer a one stop training facility for the many different types of courses we offer.

Award Winning Company

Our company was one of the winning finalist in the Business of the year awards for 1997-1998. We were chosen from 600 entrants and won because of our commitment to driver training, for this we are very grateful and very proud.

Award Winning Vehicles

Over the years we have built up quite a large collection of trophy’s awarded to us for the presentation of our vehicles. We have a fleet of twenty three trucks, plus four full size coaches, all of which are fully maintained in our own workshops by our own mechanics. Our fleet is second to none, and your inspection is welcomed at anytime.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly trained professionals, and the training they give is the very best money can buy. Their caring attitude towards the pupils has to be seen to be believed. At Kent Metro you are treated like one of the family, nothing is too much trouble to them from the smallest problem to something you may consider to be a large problem they will find a way round it. Our philosophy is if you are pleased with our training you will pass the word to your friends that is the best advert you can have.
